What Paid Links Mean
Other Worlders may receive a commission, referral fee, or other value when a reader clicks a product link or buys something after following that link. That relationship should be disclosed close to the recommendation and not hidden on this page alone.
A page-level disclosure is still required before paid links appear on a Field Kit page, buyer guide, article, or product table.
How Recommendations Should Work
Products should be recommended because they solve a specific reader job. A UFO book should help a particular type of reader. A tripod should improve a sighting report. A radio should help a household receive reliable local information. A Faraday bag should be tied to a narrow testable signal-control job.
Other Worlders should not use UFO uncertainty, alien-contact anxiety, AI anxiety, medical worries, signal-control claims, or emergency preparedness to sell fear.
Amazon Associates Readiness
If Amazon Associates links are used, Other Worlders should show the required Associate statement on the site and near Amazon-heavy recommendation blocks.
Amazon product images, prices, reviews, ratings, and availability should not be copied into Other Worlders pages unless they come from Amazon-approved tools or the Product Advertising API.
Link Attributes
Paid outbound links should use `rel="sponsored"`. Add `nofollow` as well when a partner requires it. Internal tracking links should preserve the same paid-link relationship when they redirect to a partner.
