5. Little Green Men
Popular-Culture Archetype

Where Do Alien Types Come From?
Encounter-Specific Beings
The Hopkinsville, Flatwoods, Pascagoula, Voronezh, Varginha and Kelly Cahill entities begin with particular people, places and dates. They should not automatically be promoted into species. One unusual description may represent a misidentification, an altered perception, a fabricated story, an unexplained event or something genuinely anomalous. Are Any Alien Species Proven to Exist?
No extraterrestrial species has been independently confirmed, and no alleged visiting alien race has been scientifically verified.
